When you can't see the wood for the trees, the pandemic of overworking and mass production.

I think one of the plus sides of lockdown for me has been the ability to understand what overworking means to my art. Isolation has meant more time to focus on the smaller things and yet to understand the bigger picture.

I can see what I am doing at last and can do some tidying up of the back catalogue whilst making room for the new one. Time on my side over the last three months has been a gift, taking the edge off of desperately trying to make money.

I have a lot of material from my portfolio that is in need of basic oganising and turning into something that can engage the viewer.

This week certainly sees some changes ahead as I tidy up the chaos and prepare for the new feminist cinema and a series of publications that will feature some creative experiences over the coming year.

One of my biggest problems has always been producing like a mad a woman and then not making the work accessible enough. Lockdown has enabled me to focus on the basics. I wonder if I can keep it up as we move out of the isolation of the pandemic, I wonder if any of us can? It would be a shame to waste it.
